ACS Audiovisual’s old website was in need of an overhaul. Both the design and the user experience (UX) were overdue for a makeover. The old website used colors without an underlying strategy. The new website had to keep the same colors, but use them in a more purposeful manner.
This was achieved by utilizing theme colors. Also, it is now significantly easier to find the right services you need as a consumer or contact ACS Audiovisual. The third challenge was to clarify and emphasize that ACS Audiovisual is also an option for smaller conferences.
ACS Audiovisual wants to display how they can add value for their clients. Thus, the focus of the website had to be shifted from “this is who we are and what we can do” to “how we can serve you”.
The website is now split up into three main target groups in order to easily deliver relevant information to each type of customer.

Extensive research was conducted into the target audience, the kinds of products and services and how they are interlinked. A conscious decision was made to not communicate all services to everyone, but to filter them based on target groups instead.
Additionally, Eventresult, a part of ACS Audiovisual under a different label, had to be integrated into the website. With this the stand construction and accompanying software-solutions of Eventresult were combined, improving service for the customer. An online environment for clients where all historical projects updates and concept sketches can be accessed was also developed, making sure ACS’ online services feel like a real experience.

By researching the target audience and the kinds of products and services they use, we were able to organize the website much more efficiently. Three main categories were identified: ACS Events, ACS Hotels, and ACS IT (this is where Eventresults was integrated). We decided to work with theme colors, assigning each target audience their own theme. It was also decided to make the menu adapt to the chosen main category, including the quick links below the header. This way we united the existing ACS brandbook and the style they used for their offline branding.
The new website performs many times better, enabling visitors to quickly make their way to the services and products that are most relevant to them. The website experience is now in line with the offline brand identity. A number of renowned medical conferences have become customers since the new website was launched. In addition, the new website has generated 30% more organic traffic than the old website.
